My Dear Friends and Valued Clients,

After much reflection and with a heart full of gratitude, I am announcing my retirement and the next chapter for my beloved business. Serving you and your babies these past eight and a half years has been one of my greatest joys. I am deeply appreciative of the trust and friendships that have grown from our time together. I would have never made it this far without each and every one of you.

As I step away from one accomplished dream- to groom and run a successful salon- to follow another- a new but very strong desire from the Lord to be a stay at home homeschool mom- I am pleased to share that The Wizard of Paws will continue under new ownership instead of closing. Our new owner, Mary T. Long, shares in our commitment to excellence and community. Miss Mary is Matt’s mom (my first and longest standing employee), and her interest in keeping the salon up and running was an answer to my prayers! I plan on teaching her all I know, and she is dedicated to carrying forward the knowledge, safety procedures, and values that have made our services special.

Additionally, we will be relocating to a newly renovated building in Northport. The new address is 4010 93rd Street. Located on Hwy 43 between Chapel Hill Church and Dale's Auto Sales, but on the opposite side of the highway. It is thoughtfully designed to better serve you, the groomers, and the pets. While the address is changing, one thing remains constant: our devoted staff. Those who have come to know and love your pets over the years, will stay on. Their familiar faces and heartfelt service will continue to greet you, ensuring a seamless transition and the same loving atmosphere you have come to expect. Our last day at our current location will be December 23, 2025 with our anticipated reopening at the new building January 2, 2026- A New Year with New Beginnings at a New Location to make New Memories!

I want to sincerely thank you for your loyalty and support over the years and through this change. Though I am retiring, our connection endures, and I leave you in the best of hands.
